Londis is launching new own-brand value bays in a bid to maximise sales of its SuperValu and Daily Basics range.
The bays will showcase its mid-tier and entry-level own-brand ranges, featuring 18 products priced at £1, £1.50 and £2. The move follows the launch of Londis’ branded pound bays in January this year, which saw retailers achieve a like-for-like increase in sales of 120%.
“The own-brand value bays are another fantastic way for our retailers to provide their shoppers with value for money as well as quality,” said Londis sales director Scott Wharton.
“With more competition on the high street than ever before, initiatives like this are crucial to help Londis retailers stay ahead of the curve and remain competitive.”
