PayPoint has reported a 4% increase in third-quarter sales to £55m.
Net sales, which exclude retailer commission and the cost of mobile top-ups, rose 18% to £28.7m in the quarter to 31 December 2012.
The number of transactions hit 193 million, up 5% compared to 183 million for the same quarter last year.
PayPoint now has 24,733 sites, up 181 since the half-year end.
Internet transactions also increased 18% to 24 million and Pay By Phone transactions increased by 33% to 5.8m.
PayPoint’s Romanian business continued to grow, up 32% on last year. PayPoint has increased the number terminals in Romania by 177 to 7,179.
“Overall trading since 30 September 2012 was in line with market expectations, taking seasonality of trading into account,” said PayPoint CEO Dominic Taylor.
“We are pleased with the growth across the group and continue to focus on driving improved returns on our invested capital.”
