The Foodhall concept was launched in July

Symbol group SimplyFresh has teamed up with Next to launch a pop-up Foodhall as part of a weekend-long festival at the fashion retailer’s Solihull branch.

Next Retail Park in Solihull, West Midlands will transform its garden centre into a mini-festival from 16 to 18 August.

Simply Fresh will provide a pop-up Foodhall with street food vendors, as an extension of its latest branded store concept.

The Foodhall will feature streetfood vendors the Street Kitchen Brothers, The Grill House and Katsu Kitchen.

Simply Fresh will also bring together local and artisan suppliers selling hand-crafted chutneys, batch brews, organic ready meals and a wide range of other produce.

“This is another example of our commitment to our ‘we love food’ campaign,” said SimplyFresh brand and creative director Davinder Jheeta. “Our stores have been shouting about great tasting ingredients for some years now, and this event showcases all the great things you can do with good ingredients. We know that nothing brings people together quite like great food.”

The collaboration between the symbol group and Next comes weeks after SimplyFresh opened its first Foodhall in Manchester.

The 6,000 sq ft space is the first of its kind for SimplyFresh and combines a convenience store offering with a restaurant space and three street food concessions.

A coffee counter, craft beer bar and a florist also form part of the ‘retailainment’ space so-called by SimplyFresh COO Kash Khera.
