Quex Foods is launching Kent Crisps into delis, farmshops and fine food stores around the county next week. The company, which also supplies a range of local products, including Extra Virgin Rapeseed Oil, described the flavours as "typically Kentish".
The crisps will come in four flavours: Ashmore Cheese & Onion, Sea Salt & Biddenden Cider Vinegar, Sea Salt, and Oyster & Vinegar (rsp: 80p/40g), which Quex said was a flavour first.
"We have selected flavours that celebrate Kent produce and tastes associated with the county," said MD Anthony Curwen. "Our crisp packets show imagery representative of the county's fine heritage. Other flavours are planned and we hope the people of Kent and its visitors will be proud to enjoy them."
