Premium crisp brand Burts Chips is being revamped with a new look and flavours.
New packaging featuring an image of hands around a Burts’ apron will be rolled out from next month and in March, three new flavours - wasabi steak, Lincolnshire sausage & mustard, and jalapeno & red pepper - will be introduced.
The company said the new look reflected the brand’s artisan credentials and would help build on its 16% growth in sales to £13m in 2012. A back of pack QR code would be added linking to the Burts website, it added.
The brand will promote the revamp through social media and in-store PoS.
