Next week’s International cheese Awards will go ahead despite the cancellation of the Nantwich Show, at which they are ordinarily hosted.

The judging of the awards will still take place at Dorford Park, Nantwich, on a trade day on Tuesday 24 July, with a public opening the next day. However, the show’s other attractions have been cancelled.

“The show directors and committee will pull out all the stops to ensure that we have the biggest and best show yet,” said Richard Paul, chairman of the awards.

This year’s awards will feature appearances from Gino d’Acampo and James Martin. A representative from The Grocer will help to judge the awards.
