DEFRA's March estimates of meat stocks in public cold stores

Traders have been complaining for months of far too much poultry clogging their market. Excessive supplies from third countries are said to have kept prices on the floor, though home production has also been heavy. Fish, on the other hand, seems to have been attracting consumers without so much need for price discounts.
