Kavli is hoping to harness seasonal summer interest in outdoor eating by adding a smoky tomato BBQ flavour to its ambient Primula Dips range. The limited edition flavour contains pepper and onions and is 99% fat free. It joins six other variants, all designed for dipping, for use as a relish or as a jacket potato topping. Marketing controller Craig Brooks said the products were versatile ­ with a home on either or both the ambient fixture and chiller, or as part of a barbecue fixture. Kavli is also running a Take a cool dip this summer' promotion for independent retailers, offering six free dips plus a merchandising unit with every 12 dips.
