Discovery Foods is challenging the misconception that fajitas are complicated to prepare in its latest marketing campaign.

The Mexican food specialist will hit the road this month in its Perfect Fajita roadshow to distribute leaflets and coupons at Sainsbury, Tesco and Morrisons across northern England. Leaflets, coupons and money-off incentives carry the message: 'Spice it up, top it up, wrap it up.'

The campaign, which follows the relaunch of the range this month, would help the brand steal share from Old El Paso, which Discovery said was "antiquated".
