Bakehouse, which represents nine leading continental bakeries in the UK, is kicking off 1999 with a redesigned logo, new products and a positive commitment to customer service. Three new lines make their debut at IFE 99. Schulstad toffee apple Danish is a light, flaky plaited pastry filled with toffee and Bramley apple pieces which can be baked from frozen in 18 minutes. Under the Bakehouse label is a spinach, ricotta and parmesan plait which also contains feta cheese and is topped with sesame seeds. The line up is completed with a Bakehouse all butter croissant. Head of marketing Peter Drew said: "Our aim is that the new Bakehouse logo will come to symbolise not only the quality expected from our products, but the radical new approach we will be taking towards a complete customer support system." {{P&P }}
