Unilever is gearing up for the big spring clean with a beefed up Domestos range and £7.5m supporting campaign.

It is adding two new products Total Blast Toilet Gel (rsp: £1.69/750ml) and new Germ Blaster Rim Blocks (rsp: £1.99/case of eight) to the line up, which will be rebadged as the Domestos Total Cleaning System to provide a “complete toilet cleaning ­solution”. The brand’s established 24HR Bleach and Zero Limescale Remover have also been revamped and brought under the new banner.

“Multiple toilet households are more common than ever before, so this is the perfect time to inform consumers about the most effective toilet products to use,” said brand manager Hannah Thompson. “By increasing Domestos’s repertoire we will also increase the brand’s usage.”

The £7.5m campaign, running now, includes TV, press, radio and digital.
