Wine producers, importers and retailers have only a few days left to launch their bids to win a medal at the 2008 International Wine Challenge.
The deadline for entries from UK-based businesses is 7 March.
The competition's blind tasting judging will take place in mid April and the results will be announced at the London International Wine Fair in May.
Camille Seghesio, of Seghesio Family Vineyards of California, which won the International Zinfandel Trophy last year, said: "Winning a trophy from the IWC has led to an increase in sales, particularly in the UK market, and has strengthened our brand internationally."
