Ginger is the key ingredient of a new range of drinks launching from Essex-based company Ginger Moods. First one off the blocks is pineapple juice with ginger and natural flavourings, launching in October in a Tetra Brik Aseptic Slim carton with an easy opening ReCap (rsp £1.19 for one litre). It has no added sugar, artificial flavouring, sweeteners or preservatives. As well as being a flavouring for food, ginger is said to help nausea, digestive problems and muscle sprains. The company expects the drinks to appeal to the ethnic and health food markets as well as the major multiples. Support includes ads in health media, PoS, mailings, samplings and availability at festivals and carnivals. {{P&P }}
