Premium adult soft drink Bottlegreen is targeting the mixer category with two new flavoured tonic waters.

The launch follows promotional tie-ins with Gordon’s Gin and Grey Goose vodka last year and forms part of Bottlegreen’s plans to increase turnover from £15m to £25m by 2017.

The 175ml pink (pomegranate & elderflower) and elderflower tonic waters (rsp: £3/four-pack) will be rolled out to 270 Sainsbury’s stores at the start of May.

They were a natural extension to the range, said Amanda Grabham, head of brand marketing at Bottlegreen owner SHS Drinks, and would help establish Bottlegreen as the “ultimate premium cocktail mixer”.
