EU prices for palm oil and kernel oil continue to increase month on month as floods in Malaysia affect harvests. The UK sugar price is also rising, due to drought in Brazil.

UK oat prices are up in response to increasing competition from other grains following record harvests.

Crude oil prices have fallen to their lowest in nearly six years as a result of weakened demand and rising global production. This has caused a slump in EU polystyrene, also affected by drops in naphtha and styrene prices.

In the UK, natural gas prices have also fallen. Norwegian imports increased during unplanned outages but domestic flow recovered sooner than expected with surplus far outstripping demand.
