Jane Edwards returns to Heinz as head of UK branding and innovation, driving the development of new and existing products.
She will sit on the UK and Ireland executive and will report to acting area director for the UK and Ireland Stefan Barden. Working alongside the business unit directors and other executive members, she will play a full role on Heinz's European innovations executive.
Edwards moves back to Heinz after two years with Brand Development where she worked on branding and innovation projects for major fmcg clients.
Her career at Heinz has spanned many category groups and most recently she held the post of marketing and general manager for sauces, heading the European ketchup business and working on brand positioning and ranging.
Edwards said: "It's going to be very rewarding to drive Heinz's innovation and branding across the UK and Ireland."
Barden said: "Edwards will focus on the innovation process across the UK and Ireland and will be actively involved with the category teams in roll-out and implementation. In addition, she will drive the Heinz brand strategy and development across the region."
