Red Bull has becomes the first major drinks brand to throw its weight behind the Every Can Counts recycling scheme.
The energy drinks giant has become a funding partner of the scheme, which is backed by can manufacturers and aims to promote recycling in the workplace. As well as helping to fund the scheme programme, Red Bull will actively promote recycling of cans at its public events.
“Joining Every Can Counts gives us the opportunity to directly support and encourage drinks can recycling among our consumers and a wider audience,” said Red Bull UK managing director Nigel Trood.
“We hope to develop an exciting, dynamic relationship with the programme and its users.”
