Sainsbury is embarking on a dual-branding exercise for a range of ethically sourced coffees from more unusual coffee-producing regions.
It has selected gourmet coffee company Union Coffee Roasters to create two coffees - Ethiopia Yirgacheffe and Sumatra Aceh Extra Fancy - for its stores on an exclusive basis.
The dual-branded coffees will provide a financial commitment to the farmer co-operatives.
Both products will be priced at £2.89 each for a 227g pack of ready ground coffee for filters and cafetières.
