Three former senior executives of Coca-Cola have set up a rival drinks business producing adult soft drinks. Called the Feel Good Drinks Co, it is headed by md David Wallwork, who was in charge of category development at CCE, marketing director Steve Cooper, ex-head of npd at CCGB, and commercial director Chris Wright, ex-head of marketing operations at CCE where, between them, they notched up 18 years service. The new company's first offering is a trio of juice drinks in stylish bottles specifically aimed at wooing 20 to 35-year-old women. Naturally Relaxing orange and mango, Naturally Energizing lemon and Naturally Cleansing cranberry and orange all contain natural ingredients. Rsp is £1.19 for a 375ml bottle. Wallwork said the split from Coca-Cola was amicable and allowed them to branch out on their own. "We wanted to launch an innovative business and create products that look good, taste good and make consumers feel good," he said. "These drinks offer functional benefits and offer a great alternative to energy drinks." Wallwork said the brand, which will be available in a couple of months, should particularly appeal to high street retailers and cafés. {{P&P }}
