That’s the message that the National Pig Association will be promoting at its Autumn Symposium on September 29.
The Symposium, entitled Precision Pork Production, will focus primarily on information - how to collect it and how to use it to increase productivity and reduce costs.
Stewart Houston, association chairman, commented; “Producers, under the extreme pressures of the last five years, have cut corners to survive, but the consequences for performance are self-evident.
“The symposium pulls together a range of top UK industry speakers, with the added bonus of valued input from Denmark.
Tickets for the Stoneleigh event, including a sit down lunch, are priced at £25.
Booking forms and the full programme can be obtained at www.npa-uk.net or by contacting James Stevenson on 020 7331 7650.
