Heinz aims to inject fun into frozen desserts with a classic take on traditional offerings.
Hitting shelves this month, the four-strong range is based on favourites with quirky names and packaging.
It features Meringue-a-Tang (lemon meringue pie), Cheesecake Ex-strawb-inaire (strawberry cheesecake), Choc-a-Bloc (chocolate brownie) and Toffeenana (banoffee pie).
The treats, all with a £2.49 price tag, are multi-textured, layered desserts in a bar format. Aimed at busy families, the range defrosts in 15 minutes.
“Desserts used to be much more interesting and Heinz is injecting that fun back into the category with this exciting range that allow families to indulge on impulse,” said Heinz frozen desserts brand manager Rebecca Davis. “We know food can bring families together and these desserts allow consumers to do that whenever the mood grabs them.”
