Matthew Clark has withdrawn its fcuk spirit from sales after an independent panel said the vodka-based drink appealed too strongly to children.

The panel, which considers complaints made under the drinks industry’s code of pratice, ruled that because products under the fcuk clothing brand were popular with teenagers, so the drink would be.

Bristol-based Matthew Clark which makes fcuk in fruit flavours with an abv of 5.4%, disagreed with the ruling, but has decided to withdraw the product from sale.
