She takes up her post in March, after five months in her previous role, which she assumed on September 29 (The Grocer, September 27, p17).
United Biscuits UK marketing director John Eggleton will take on Ferguson’s responsibilities for the time being. Reporting to chief executive Robert Schofield, Ferguson’s role will be to develop strategy for products such as Ambrosia Custard, Ambrosia Rice Pudding and Ambrosia Splat.
Before her last role at UBUK, Ferguson held commercial management and strategic development roles with UBUK, Terry’s of York and Heinz.
She said: “I am looking forward to ensuring Ambrosia’s integration into Premier Foods.”
