Confectioner Ferrero is extending its partnership with The X Factor via a Kinder Bueno promotion designed to emulate the success of last year’s Tic Tac push.
This year, Ferrero brands will feature an on-pack promotion giving consumers the chance to win tickets to the live shows each week throughout the series, which starts this weekend. Tickets to The X Factor Live Tour 2012 will also be up for grabs.
Following a similar promotion last year, Tic Tac sales grew by 14% year-on-year [Nielsen].
Ferrero said it expected “equally impressive results” on the back of this year’s push.
The on-pack promotion, which is running across Kinder Bueno and Kinder Bueno White, as well as all four Tic Tac flavours, is being supported by merchandising featuring the smash-hit talent show’s logo.
