Nestlé UK has announced the appointment of Georgia Field as category marketing manager for its premium coffee range, which includes Gold Blend. Field began her career as a graduate trainee at Britvic in 1990, where she gathered experience working on new product development. She was employed on the launch of the first 1-litre, juice bottle in the ambient category and the launch of the black still Tango bottle. She became senior brands manager for juice and R Whites Lemonade in 1994. Field moved to Camelot in 1996, looking after its £750m a year National Lottery Instants portfolio. She worked at the Arcadia group as head of marketing for menswear from 1999-2000 and then for internet gambling site from 2000-2001. Field said: "My role will present a lot of challenges. It's a competitive category, but Gold Blend is a great brand with much history." Part of my responsibility will be to identify and drive opportunities for the brand." {{PEOPLE MOVES }}
