Findus Group has appointed Leendert den Hollander to the newly created role of chief marketing officer.

Hollander has been appointed to spearhead a major marketing push. He joins from P&G where he worked for 15 years, most recently as global director of household cleaners. "Leendert is a senior marketer who has managed many famous brands and has an outstanding track record in driving category changing innovation," said Chris Britton, chief executive of the Findus Group. "He will play a vital role in bringing new focus to our core development programme."

Meanwhile, Young's Seafood, owned by Findus Group, has appointed Jim Procter-Blain as marketing manager in charge of the development of its Chip Shop and Naturally frozen coated fish ranges. He was previously senior brand manager at Fox's Biscuits.
