Cadbury Fingers is returning to television screens for the first time in five years to position ­itself as a "good-time ­family sharing" brand.

The £2m push, which kicks off this Wednesday [13 October], features finger puppet characters, portrayed achieving various firsts, such as the 'first ­finger on the moon' and the 'first finger to ascend a mountain'.

Made under licence by Burton's Foods, sales of Cadbury Fingers have risen 7.4% to £33m over the past year [SymphonyIRI to 4 September 2010].
