GrocerToday editor Chris Fletcher is preparing to race Big Food Group chief executive Bill Grimsey in the Flora London Marathon on April 13.
Chris aims to complete the 26.2 mile run in 3hrs 30mins and raise funds for grocery charity Caravan.
A former Sussex County Cricket Club seam bowler, he coached The Grocer's cricket team to victory against Food from Britain in an annual fixture last summer, before turning his attentions to the Marathon.
Bill should know our boy has been following a harsh training regime since November to build up distance and speed, even running in his lunch break.
He now has one final 20-mile training run to go, and will then start building himself up by eating lots of pasta.
Bill will present stiff competition on the big day.
He ran his first London Marathon in 1981, and this will be his seventh go.
He is hoping to beat his personal best of 3hrs 27min, and will be accompanied by 19 other Big Food Group runners.
