game on Imperial Leather is aiming to lather up some attention for its £2m sponsorship of the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester. A three-ad TV campaign breaks on July 22 and features footage of athletes' mistakes together with unexpected twists. It is backed by posters showing Foamburst Shower Gel as a relay baton and synchronised swimmers in the bath. Meanwhile, the brand's logo will appear around the stadia, on athletes' bibs and on Manchester taxis. Other activity includes a round-Britain sampling roadshow  now on  and a radio promotion to find the best shower singing voice. An on-pack promotion running since April offers Gold, Silver and Bronze' prizes, including a family holiday to Australia. Kicking off on July 25 and running through to August 4, the Games are claimed to be the largest sporting event ever held in the UK and TV viewing figures of one billion are expected. {{P&P }}
