Own label accounts for more than 90% of the category.
Branded sales are growing faster than own-label, albeit from a smaller base. l Promotions have increased year-on-year, with over 40% of sales through promotions, up from just over 30%.
Tesco, Morrisons, Waitrose and the discounters are growing ahead of the market, although they all (except Waitrose) continue to undertrade.
