Iceland Foods has recalled its Jim Beam Bourbon Ribs because of incorrect storage instructions on the packaging, the Food Standards Agency has reported.

The 450g award-winning frozen product with a ‘use-by’ date of 25 March 2017, included incorrect storage instructions on the packaging, which The FSA said could cause the product to spoil.

The product recall notice explains that some products were incorrectly labelled “Chilled product, keep refrigerated”.

The retailer has accompanied the recall with point-of-sale notices in all stores.

Customers who have bought the affected product will be able to get a full refund from their nearest Iceland store.

Iceland declined to comment.
