Forecourt operator HKS Retail has reported a £16m sales boost after growing store numbers.
Turnover at the group is up 19.4% to £102.9m for the 52 weeks ending 31 May 2016 according to results filed on Companies House. The retailer, which operates 60 Spar, Londis and Costcutter branded forecourts across England, grew pre-tax profits by 18.5% to £553,020.
HKS said it had improved turnover and profitability through growth in site numbers and making improvements in the retail and food offerings on its existing locations.
Subway, Millie’s Cookies, Simply Coffee and Costa Express are current partners and fuel suppliers include BP, Jet, Texaco and Shell.
