Fox's Biscuits is hoping to make its Rocky, Viennese Melts and Chunkie Cookie lines more suitable for people on the go with new lunchbox-friendly formats.

The new bagged biscuits will hit shelves later this month and mark the Northern Foods company's first-ever venture into the out-of-home channel. SHS Sales & Marketing has been appointed by Northern to handle the roll-out to retailers and foodservice channels.

The launch would attract a new set of consumers to the biscuit brands, said Sandy Graham, out-of-home sales controller for Fox's Biscuits.

"Fox's continues to drive growth of the £1.4bn sweet biscuit category and by opening up our bestsellers to all out-of-home eating occasions and venues, we can continue to provide our consumers with the best possible biscuit choice whenever and wherever they want it," she said.
