Fox’s Glacier Dark sweets have been given a ghoulish makeover in time for the trick-or-treat season. The iconic image of the polar bear still remains, but on the limited edition packs it is surrounded by bats and spooky pumpkin faces. The aniseed flavour also remains unchanged.

“Hallowe’en has become a lucrative event for confectioners,” said marketing manager at Fox’s Confectionery Jon Dixon. Sales of the Glacier Dark range leapt 34% to £468,167 last year and The Hallowe’en Dark edition will have an rsp of £1.19.
