Freddo frog is making the leap into bagged confectionery.

Mondelēz International is expanding the brand with the launch of Freddo faces (rsp: 52p), which contain 10 pieces of Cadbury chocolate in a range of five expressions - happy, in love, grumpy, confused and cheeky.

The launch is being supported with a two-for-80p promotion with Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons at launch, plus PR, PoS, and digital and trade advertising.

Freddo was originally launched in the UK in 1973, was withdrawn in 1979 and re-launched in 1994.
