Southern French wine producer Skalli aims to boost growth in premium French wine with its new Famille Skalli range.

The 10-strong collection (rsp £7.99-£9.99) incorporates wines from different regions, a strategy it claims is unique as most winemakers focus on one region.

"Brands' volume share of French wine is decreasing as the New World takes ground from Vin de Pays," said Marc Besson, off-trade brand manager. "There's a need for a new brand to help drive the reputation of Old World wines."
