The traditional roast is being given a boost with a new campaign by New Zealand lamb.
Stylish new recipe cards have been created by the New Zealand Lamb Information Bureau to inject some fresh ideas into the area of Sunday roasts.
Eight cards, each containing a new twist on tradition such as roasted lamb Lyonnaise or Mediterranean lamb, have been drawn up, and each card also gives useful recipes and ideas for the leftovers.
John Mabb, market development manager, said: "We really feel we've hit the mark with this new set of cards. There are many ideas to liven up the traditional Sunday roast."
