Pernod Ricard UK CEO Jean Manuel-Spriet has made three senior internal promotions in the company's wine and spirits teams.
Simon Thomas has been promoted from commercial director of wholesale C&C to the new role of deputy MD of sales and marketing for spirits. He will be responsible for PRUK's leading spirit brands Stolichnaya, Malibu and Jameson.
Vlastimil Speida, currently marketing category director for whiskies and vodkas, has moved up to become marketing director for spirits and Champagne.
The new position of wine director, heading up brands such as Jacobs Creek and Montana, has been filled by former international sales director Nick Blair. He will take responsibility for marketing as well as multiple and specialist c-store sales.
"We have created new roles to build on the strong performance our brands have enjoyed since the acquisition and integration of the Allied Domecq portfolio in July 2005," said Manuel-Spriet.
