Whitby Seafoods has revamped the packaging of its retail seafood range in a bid to give the product greater on-shelf standout.

The packs, which are rolling out now, feature clearer product photography and photos of Whitby harbour, as well as a bigger omega-3 logo.

A seagull image that mirrors the one used in the Whitby Seafoods logo has also been added.

"As we are expanding within the retail market, it's about getting everything looking nice and fresh," said Matt Whelan, head of retail marketing.
