Hampshire butcher Alf Turner & Sons has secured a raft of new listings for its Dragon’s Egg Scotch egg.

The Co-op Group has increased its listings from 488 stores to more than 1,200, and 40 Sainsbury’s in South East England will stock the product for the first time from this week.

Creator Paul Turner, who won investment from Peter Jones when he appeared on Dragons’ Den in 2012, said it was also to be listed at Asda, Waitrose and Tesco.
