A new food centre in North Wales will open its doors next month to showcase the best of the region’s produce.

Bodnant Welsh Food - which is due to open on 10 July at Bodnant, in the Conwy Valley - is working with more than 150 producers and will also sell Bodnant-branded produce.

The site includes a farm shop, plus a tea room, restaurant and facilities including a butcher, bakery and dairy that will make cheese, ice cream and yoghurt from local milk.

“This is about creating a centre of excellence to promote the true quality of Welsh food,” said MD Sandy Boyd, who has been in the farm shop retail business for more than 25 years.
