Eblex is looking to boost sales of beef and lamb with a new range of smaller roasting cuts designed for two people to share.

The Carvery range, which is being promoted by Michelin-starred chef Nigel Haworth, includes a beef topside mini joint and a lamb ribeye joint and is designed to provide cheaper alternatives to larger roasting joints.

Eblex is hoping it will tap the dining for two and sharing platter trends in retail and foodservice.

“Families are increasingly looking for quick and cost-effective meal solutions, and traditional roasting joints aren’t providing this,” said Mike Whittemore, head of trade marketing for Eblex.
