Lasting Leaf has become the first salad brand to be endorsed by the Good Housekeeping Institute.

The brand, owned by Natures Way Foods, can now display a logo saying ‘Good Housekeeping Institute Approved 2013’ on its packs, website and in any marketing. New packs with the logo are currently rolling out.

“This clear endorsement will not only help to highlight Lasting Leaf’s ‘longer-lasting’ proposition but will also boost sales,” said marketing manager Melanie Dean.

Lasting Leaf blanches the leaves to keep them fresh for two days longer than standard cut lettuce. The GHI panel was “very impressed that the salad remained fresh and crisp even after seven days”.
