Organic dairy body Omsco is to promote the GM-free credentials of organic milk as part of its latest drive to convince shoppers to trade up from conventional milk. The £1.5m campaign, which kicked off on 1 July, will use ads to highlight the fact that organic dairy farmers do not use herbicides or GM feed. “We want to remind the consumer what they are getting when they buy organic milk,” said Richard Hampton, Omsco chief operating officer.
