Almost 70% of British kids understand what the Red Tractor logo stands for, its operator claims.

Red Tractor Assurance said it was “encouraged” by research for Healthy Eating Week this month that revealed 68% of 11 to 14-year-olds and the same percentage of teens aged 14 to 16 understood what the logo represented.

The scheme also claimed 62% of kids aged eight to 11 recognised that it indicated food produced “safely in the UK to certain standards.”
