Frosty Jack's packaging has been given a makeover to convey a more premium look and communicate its fruit content, according to owner Aston Manor.

Pictures of apples had been added to labelling to reinforce the message that, contrary to some reports, Frosty Jack's was made in the same way as any other ­cider, said brand manager Helen Jones.

The redesign will be supported by a £1.5m ­marketing spend with a new advertising campaign and sponsorship of ITV2's comedy season, starting later this month.
