International wine producer E&J Gallo has introduced its first New Zealand variant – Starborough Sauvignon Blanc 2008. It is made from grapes sourced exclusively from the Marlborough region on South Island and has a crisp, zesty style typical of the region.

“Starborough Sauvignon Blanc delivers the essence and characteristics of New Zealand’s world-famous Sauvignon Blanc,” said Iain Newell, European marketing director. It is available now in Thresher and Sainsbury's (rsp: £8.99).
