Gap Partnership has raised £42,000 to support grocery industry employees fallen on hard times.
The training company offered its courses and consultants free for a training day, sponsored by Asda and Lucozade maker GlaxoSmithKline. Delegates paid to attend the event, with all proceeds donated to Caravan, the grocery industry charity.
The subject of training session, held on 17 February, was 'An Introduction to Collaborative Negotiation: Profit from Partnership'. More than 40 delegates attended the one-day workshop.
Staff from Asda and GSK passed on negotiating tips, narrated case studies and gave real-life examples of collaboration. They also took part in negotiation exercises with Gap consultants.
