Seven Seas is claiming a breakthrough for aching joints with the launch of new JointCare Max.
Aimed at consumers aged 60-plus, the two pill treatment contains maximum strength glucosamine and cod liver oil which are designed to repair damaged cartilage and other connective tissues as well as reduce inflammation.
However, with an rsp of £19.99, a 30-tablet container is not cheap. Tim Horne, UK and international marketing manager, said the tablets had been in development for a number of years, adding: “About 20% of visits to the doctor are arthritis related so consumers need all the help they can get.”
