Premium vegetable crisps maker Glennans has removed all visual references to vegetables from its packaging in a revamp.

The new-look range, in Waitrose and Makro, features simple single-coloured backgrounds with product descriptions. "Our new packaging is strong enough to make a statement on its own, without the visual veggies reference," said business development director Sarah Glennan-Moore.

Further variants were in the pipeline and due to be revealed in the next 12 months, she added.
